Registration for the 2022-23 School Year

Re-registration for the 2022-23 school year begins on January 31st for our current families. Open registraton begins February 14th. We urge you to complete the re-registration paperwork as soon as possible to hold your spot for next year.

Social Justice Project

Growing in Faith and Service...

  SMOM School is collecting items for a social justice project in collaboration with Catholic Charities. Our project is to collect items to fill bags for children that arrive at Catholic Charitie's Emergency Shelter. The goal is to collect 30 bags by Tuesday, Nov. 30th.
 

  Possible supplies include, but are not limited to, the following.
 
  -coloring supplies
 
  -reusable water bottles
 
  -children's individually wrapped toothbrush and tooth paste
 
  - fidget spinners or other non-gender specific toys

  Items can be sent into school with your child, or dropped off. This is a wonderful way to show our support to children in their time of need!

Virtual Open House

Our Virtual Open House was a huge success! Parents loved the opportunity to look inside our school and to see their child(rens) classroom, whether it was their current classroom or the one they came from last year. Many parents have shared the challenge of being on the outside of the school building, and how good it felt to connect with the sights their children see daily. We are thankful for the opportunity to address the needs of our children and their family, and yet still provide the safe school experience that has allowed us to remain open throughout this pandemic. School Closing March 17th through April 13th

Under advisement of the New York State Dept. of Health, St. Mary Our Mother School will be closed for students beginning Tuesday, March 17th through Monday, April 13th, for prevention efforts against COVID-19.

School will be open as usual Monday, March 16th in order for students and staff to prepare for this extended dismissal.

We encourage everyone to take precautions during this time by reducing travel, maintaining social distance, and practicing good hygiene. The health and safety of our students and our community are our top priorities.

2019 Escape - to support St. Mary Our Mother School!

Tickets for our Big Money Raffle may be purchased through a school family or by stopping into St. Mary Our Mother School's Main Office between 8am and 3pm Monday through Friday.

Information on CaSE Training for all our Parent Volunteers

Many parents have completed the family participation form and we greatly appreciate it. The next important step is to complete the CaSE training as soon as possible. If you are new to the school please note CaSE needs to be completed to do volunteer work at the school where children are involved. Those who completed the training over 3 years ago need to go through the retraining. All necessary information to complete the training is attached below.

As we begin our school year, it is important that all parents become familiar with our web- based school management software system called My StudentsProgress.com (MSP). MyStudentsProgress.com provides parents/guardians secure online access to track grades, assignments, and school-related information. This system will provide improved parent/guardian communications with our school, resulting in increased parental involvement to raise student’s academic achievement.

Parents/guardians can now track their student’s progress from home, work or on the road from any computer with a connection to the internet. Below is a list of Parent/Guardian Benefits:
