Beyond the Classroom
St. Mary Our Mother School believes education develops the whole person ... spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, physically and socially. Opportunities for students to learn and explore beyond the structure of their school day fosters and encourages positive relationships, growth and development.
Children's Choir meets on Thursday after school until 4 pm. All students in grades 2-6 are eligible. Children's choir assists in mass on First Friday and special days of worship.
Morning Math Club meets before school, offering students the chance to enrich and grow in their math skills.
Open Technology meets before school, offering students a chance to explore and further expand their skills in technology.
Art Club meets during the school year and offers students the opportunity to expand their creativity.
Cooking Club meets a various times throughout the school year and participates in local competitions as well as providing baked items for special school events.
Homework Room provides students who attend our Stay N Play after school program a quiet place to do their homework.
Art Camp is a weeklong program during the summer for students to explore their talents. There are both a Jr. and Sr. sessions.
Spanish Camp is sometimes offered during the summer and allows students the opportunity for discovering new, or improving upon, previously acquired Spanish language skills.
